On 12 September 2026, 51 athletes competed at the Rhein-Main-Cup in Ober-Olm. Turnverein Ober-Olm hosted the competition together with the BVDKS.
Strong performances on the platform
As many as 55 pre-registrations promised a strong field. On competition day, the programme included jerk, long cycle, snatch, military snatch and the 30-minute half marathon. In the biathlon in particular, the athletes impressed with outstanding scores.
Fair competition and support from the audience shaped the atmosphere in the hall.
Youngsters and beginners in the thick of it
Five-minute short sets with intermediate weights gave newcomers the chance to gain their first competition experience. The youngest athletes also showed great commitment and strong technique in the children's competitions. Their performances were rewarded with medals and plenty of applause.
Exciting finale in the team relay
To finish, the TV Ober-Olm team competed in a relay against a strong guest team. With loud cheering, the race remained open until the very last second. In the end, the Ober-Olm team narrowly prevailed and secured a home win.
