Seven platforms and many half marathon starts

From 11 a.m., competitions ran on seven platforms. Stefan C. Maus provided the music and Friedhelm Senck hosted. Chief referee Waldemar Grinjuk oversaw proceedings, which ran according to plan.

The performances of the para lifters and young people were received with great respect and applause. In addition to jerk, long cycle and snatch, the 30-minute half marathon proved very popular – in some cases with 32 kg kettlebells.

The placings are published in the BVDKS competition protocols . Numerous certificates and medals were presented at the award ceremony.

Encounters and general meeting

The championship was also a meeting of the kettlebell community, where old acquaintances were renewed and new ones made.

At the subsequent general meeting, Vadim Sichwardt, André Chahor, Olivia Rasigraf and André Baudach were confirmed on the board for a further four years.

Treasurer André Chahor explained that annual income was just covering expenditure. He asked members to look out for sponsors and donors to strengthen the association's financial base.
